​​Zain Bahrain Grabs Gold Stevie Award

Manama - Bahrain, 19 October, 2014: Zain Bahrain, the most innovative operator in the Kingdom, received the internationally acclaimed Gold Stevie® Award during the 11th Annual International Business Awards Gala Dinner held in the Westin Vendome in the French Capital, Paris.

The award received was for the Communications PR Campaign/Program of the Year - Social Media Focused - Middle East category for the #zweetup campaign launched earlier this year which aimed at effectively increasing positive engagement across Zain Bahrain’s social media channels through an interactive platform targeting social media enthusiasts and bloggers.

Zain Bahrain’s E-Marketing Manager, Ali Sabkar, received the award on behalf of the operator.

“This award is a culmination of our efforts to launch and sustain campaigns that positively communicate with the community across social media platforms. To receive global recognition is an honour for all of us here at Zain Bahrain,” said Zain Bahrain’s General Manager, Mohammed Zainalabedin.

“Our aim is to further engage with the community using innovative and engaging communications,” He added.

“The International Business Awards is the world's premier business awards with the 2014 edition receiving entries from more than 60 nations and territories.
