Manama – 29 Dec 2018: Zain Bahrain, a leading telecoms operator in the Kingdom participated in the Value Added Tax (VAT) implementation workshop; which was held by the National Bureau for Taxation (NBT) earlier this month as part of Zain Bahrain preparation for the upcoming VAT introduction starting January 1st, 2019 in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The workshop was attended by a number of employees from Zain Bahrain. It covered VAT core and sector specific concepts, VAT processes and timelines, as well as taxpayer readiness assessment. The workshop provided Zain Bahrain employees a forum for sharing insights and also consisted of an interactive Q&A session where Zain Bahrain employees were able to address their questions to the Bureau.
