Proud of its continuous CSR efforts, Zain Bahrain has always focused on initiatives towards Education with a concentration on youth development and empowerment, fostering the process of progress and change in the Kingdom and its future prosperity as outlined in the leadership Vision 2030.

His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed Bin Ali Al Khalifa, Chairman of Zain Bahrain, praised HH Shaikha Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa for this patronage of this project commenting "This project has yielded great results, making it one of Zain Bahrain's top CSR initiatives. We would like to express our gratitude towards everyone who is involved in this vital project, especially His Highness Shaikha Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa whose patronage of this project guaranteed its continuity and improved its outcome."

General Manager of Zain Bahrain, Mohammed Zainalabedin commented, "We are extremely proud to celebrate the 12th edition of our longest-running CSR initiative, the Back to School project. Education has always been a key strategic thrust at Zain Bahrain and youth empowerment programs continue to be a backbone in all our operations."

"The Back to School project is one of our very first community projects and we have been able to empower over 270,000 children to-date, an achievement made possible by the effort put in by the employees of Zain Bahrain towards the greater community" he added.

"Our commitment towards supporting youth development, educational and social initiatives remain a core value of our CSR strategy and involving members of the staff in such initiatives demonstrate our vital role and willingness to empower the community." added Corporate Communications Manager, Samya Hussein, from Zain Bahrain.

Following last year's 'Go Green' approach, Zain Bahrain opted to distribute eco-friendly supplies including bags and kits to students. The education-focused project launched back 2004, distributed over 270,000 school supplies to-date, ensuring that deserving school children throughout the Kingdom receive sturdy schoolbags and stationery.
