Manama – 22 May 2020: Zain Bahrain, a leading telecoms operator in the Kingdom has volunteered to support The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) national campaign "Together for Bahrain's Safety" for combating the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) which was launched following directives from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa wife of his Majesty the King of Bahrain President of the Supreme Council for Women; to support Bahraini families and cater to their needs. earlier last week.

Zain Bahrain has volunteered to support with providing sanitisers and cleaning products to needy Bahraini families and vulnerable people to limit the impact of coronavirus through health and hygiene measures as part of the national campaign.

"During this unprecedented period that has challenged both health and economy, Zain Bahrain has taken many steps to support the community. We are committed and responsible to help the most vulnerable amongst us in the time of need and we are extremely proud to be part of the together for Bahraini's safety campaign that aims to safeguard and protect Bahraini families," said Zain Bahrain Director of Communication & Investor Relations, Abdulla Khaled Al-Khalifa.

The campaign, "Together for Bahrain's Safety", seeks to extend support to needy families during these exceptional circumstances; providing urgent aid and services, family guidance and legal consultancy, in addition to economic consultation and support to ensure that women benefit from the Government's financial packages to continue their business activities in the labour market; the campaign also provides education support to enable families of frontliner families to cope with the children's online learning requirements
