Zain Racing ranks 21st in karting worldwide after knockout performance at Muscat Speedway race
Manama – 29 March, 2017:
Zain Racing, Zain Bahrain’s in-house team for racing events, has been ranked the top Bahraini
karting team and 21st best in the world by international karting
body Sodi World Series (SWS), following its impressive third-place finish at
the Muscat Speedway 24 Hours Endurance Race in Oman. This positioning means
that the team is now officially recognized as “Semi-Pro”.
"It is an honour to win international recognition from SWS, the karting world's premier ranking agency," commented Zain Bahrain Corporate Events Manager, Ghazi Faisal Radhi, who also manages the team. "The team's hard work has paid off allowing us to raise the Bahrain flag high at events around the world, and we look forward to even greater success in the future."
Zain Racing's team consisted of drivers Khaled Al-Hammadi, Raed Rafai, Mohamed Al-Zadjali, and Craig and Colum Mitchell, with Raghib Alanni as strategist and Mr. Radhi as team manager.
