Zain Bahrain launches 'Iftar Saa'em' campaign

Zain Bahrain, a telecoms innovator focused on enhancing customer experience, has launched its 'Iftar Saa'em' initiative, which is aimed at helping lower-income families and workers during the holy month of Ramadan. Zain Bahrain staff, comprising both locals and expatriates, help relieve some of the burdens on the underprivileged in the Kingdom by visiting houses and worksites where they distribute meals to families and laborers.
"Not everyone is lucky enough to afford a decent Iftar meal during Ramadan," said Zain Bahrain Corporate Sustainability & Social Responsibility Manager, Pakiza Abdlrahman. "This is our way of giving back to the community and reminding ourselves of what this month is all about. We come together again this year, both staff and volunteers, to share Iftar meals with the less fortunate and we invite our customers to help us give more by participating in this campaign."
Zain Bahrain's team also paid visits to an orphanage, Bahrain Deaf Society and covered all of the Kingdom's Governorates as part of their campaign. Zain customers can support the initiative by sending (1) through an SMS to 94030. A BD1.5 donation will be made on their behalf per SMS message.
