With an aim to promote a healthy environment and build the capacity amongst students in Bahrain,  Zain Bahrain has expanded the scope of its environmental CSR drive by launching Bahrain's first ever School Competition to promote E-Waste Awareness & to collect the highest number of Electronic waste. The company arranged a few briefing sessions at the Zain Tower where over 250 students from different schools attended and received promotional material about the campaign.

Participating schools are encouraged to come up with an innovative approach to raise electronic waste awareness and to submit their reports by 2nd of June to Zain CSR management.

"We aim to expand our reach and encourage the students to spread the awareness and become more responsible and take a step towards a more eco-friendly society." commented Pakiza Abdulrahman, Corporate Sustainability & Social Responsibility Manager of Zain Bahrain.

"Zain Bahrain is pleased with the results of the Zain National Mobile Phone and e-Waste Recycling Campaign launched in 2011.
