Zain Bahrain Collaborates with Netaj Khair Al Bahrain to Sponsor 1000 Iftar Meal Packs to Honorable People

In continuance with its Ramadan Giving Initiative, Zain Bahrain (BSE: ZAINBH), a telecommunications industry innovator in the Kingdom, has collaborated with Netaj Khair Al Bahrain, an initiative under The Royal Humanitarian Foundation, to sponsor 1000 ready-made iftar meal packs for distribution to honorable people during the holy month of Ramadan.

Zain Bahrain collaborated with Netaj Khair Al Bahrain to sponsor 1000 meals under Netaj's Iftar Saeem Initiative. The meals were prepared and packed by up to 15 highly trained Bahraini widows and orphans and managed by a certified kitchen led by international chefs with over two decades of experience. Zain Bahrain employees also participated in distributing meals to the less fortunate people to promote and encourage the spirit of giving back to the community and actively participating in volunteering activities of different kinds.

The Ramadan initiative comes as part of Zain Bahrain's commitment to Sustainability and Inclusion across several areas, mainly inclusivity, and creating shared value. It also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 2: Zero Hunger which aims to end, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals, which supports cooperation for sustainable development. Together, these represent Zain's Bahrain framework for creating a responsible and sustainable business fundamental for long-term value.

Abdulla Bin Khalid, Zain Bahrain Director of Communications & Investor Relations, said: "We are honored to cooperate with Netaj Khair Al Bahrain initiative to support preparing the iftar meal packs for the honorable people. At Zain Bahrain, we embrace diversity and inclusivity and value the differences between people. We are committed to giving back to the community and bringing a positive impact and well-being to our society, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. We will continue with our social initiatives that bring our values to life, empower our employees to create meaningful change, and create an inclusive business where all of our people, customers, and communities belong."

Heba Ebrahim, The Royal Humanitarian Foundation Head of Charity & Humanitarian Program, said: "We are pleased to have this opportunity to work with Zain Bahrain on their Ramadan giving initiative. Ramadan is a special time of reflection, self-awareness, and generosity, and such initiatives help unite the local community and bridge some of the social and economic gaps. We look forward to collaborating with Zain Bahrain again in dedicating time to support our society.
