Zain Bahrain Awarded as Organization of the Year for "Youth Empowerment" by GCC Gov HR Awards 2022
Zain Bahrain (BSE: ZAINBH), has recently been recognized for its ongoing commitment to encouraging and empowering the youth, winning the organization of the year for "Youth Empowerment Award" at the GCC Gov HR Awards 2022.
The award demonstrates the telco's dedicated efforts to empower and develop the youth through Zain Youth Empowerment Program and initiatives, which is a key pillar in contributing to society and Zain Bahrain's goal of embedding a socially responsible culture through Zain operations. The program aims to support youth to pursue their passion, help them gain work-life experience, and nurture and challenge them.
The program also includes several other initiatives throughout the year, including Zain's participation in Cyber Security Career Fair and its contribution to Ahlia Youth Connect Initiative. It has also run one-week training workshops in collaboration with AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation and Al Hekma International School.
The company has 172 under Zain Youth Employees and trained over 52 this year. In addition, 68 Bahraini youth have been recruited to work in various departments at Zain Bahrain under the ZY Empowerment Program. All these efforts collectively contributed to developing and empowering the youth and ultimately winning the "Youth Empowerment Award" at the GCC GOV HR Awards 2022.
