Getting started

Registering to Zain SMSThem is fast and easy. Following is a list of some basic commands that you need to send through SMS*.

To Register to the Service

Send: register username

Ex: register fati

To Create a Group

Send: create groupname

Ex: create smarts

To Invite a Friend to a Group

Send: invite groupname

number/username

Ex:

• invite smarts aliko

• invite smarts 36xxxxxx

To Join a Group

Send: join groupname

Ex: join smarts

To Allow a Friend to a Group

Send: allow groupname

number/username

Ex:

• allow bikers aliko

• allow bikers 36xxxxxx

To Send a Message to a Group

Send: m groupname message

Ex: m smarts hello!

To Leave a Group

Send: leave groupname

Ex: leave smarts

To List Group Members

Send: list groupname

To List Your Groups

Chat Control

To Mute (to stop receiving

messages from a member)

Send: mute username

Ex: mute aliko

To DND - Do Not Disturb

(to temporarily stop the service)

Send: DND

To Receive Messages Again

Send: DND OFF
