I began working when I was in my sophomore year at University of Bahrain studying Law as my major. It was the year 2010 when I got accepted at a high end brand as a Sales Representative. The management was so bad, I lasted only for a year until I had the fortune of joining Zain Bahrain in 2011 through this wonderful program called: Future University Network "F.U.N"! This program is designated to assist university students in gaining work experience while studying to become well experienced graduates one day. I was amazed by the wonderful management and environment at Zain. Everyone had the same level of respect no matter what position he/she holds. I started by holding the position of a Call Center Representative. The variety of shift timings helped me a lot since my lectures' timings at UOB were in the morning. It's tough being a student and a worker at the same time but feeling the responsibility of being fully independent was a great feeling of joy. I had one eye on the Legal Department since I joined Zain, kept that as my aim and wish that one day I will be accepted in the department of my major. When I graduated in 2013 holding bachelors' degree in Law, I got a permanent position as a Call Center Representative for great performance. I was so glad I had this opportunity since I faced tough competition. I also met my wonderful wife in the same department. In 2014, I got promoted to the Helpdesk Department which I gained much experience and became more mature. I did not stop working towards my aim and dream of shifting to the Legal Department, hence, I knew I need to gain experience in such field. So, I signed for a Trainee Lawyer at a Law Firm having the advantage of the variety of shift timings at the Helpdesk. I was a Trainee Lawyer in the morning and a Customer Service Representative at Helpdesk in the evening. I have to admit that this period of my life was the most tiring as I occupied two jobs at one time for one year.
In the beginning of 2015, My dream finally came true as I got accepted in the Legal Department holding the position of an Assistant Legal Counsel having the most wonderful boss and Director, Latifa who I will never forget granting me this opportunity. My advice is: "Keep going and never give up on your dream, even if it seems so far always work hard and ask Allah for success. Your dream will definitely become true insha'a Allah!" Zain is not just a wonderful world, it will always be in my heart for having great success. |
